Recipe: Smoked Cola Americano

Sometime in the 1860’s, Gaspare Campari [yes, the man behind the Italian bitters-style aperitif, Campari] took the classic Negroni and swapped out the gin for soda water. The drink was so popular with his American guests that he decided to call it the “Americano”. It’s a cocktail I happen to love, and I’m not even American.
Anyway, in a moment of pure genius I thought: “Geez, the Americano could be even more delicious with smoked cola”.

- 30ml Maidenii Sweet Vermouth
- 120ml Strange Love Smoked Cola
- Garnish: orange zest
Method
