Recipe: MONIN Popcorn Colada
You may or may not have noticed that the bartenders that make me cocktails are increasingly using MONIN syrups in their recipes. I’ve noticed. So I made it my business to learn more about these magic syrups. What better place to learn than a product demo with their Brand Ambassador, Papi.
I asked Papi to name his favourite flavour and he picked MONIN’s newest addition, the popcorn syrup.
Then I asked him to make me something and he came up with this vessel of deliciousness.
- 60ml white rum
- 40ml unsweetened pineapple juice
- 30ml lemon juice
- 20ml MONIN Popcorn Syrup
- 20ml MONIN Coconut Fruit Mix
- Garnish: mint, desiccated coconut & caramelised popcorn
Add all ingredients to shaker.
Fill shaker with ice. Shake well.
Single strain into serving glass.
Top with ice. Garnish.
