Aperol Spritz Popup Bar

Aperol Spritz at the Aperol Popup Bar
Melbourne is never short of fun events over summer, but this year there’s something different on the calendar. Melbourne is being treated to something new with Fatto Bar & Cantina at The Arts Centre hosting popup bars.
First, the Veuve Clicquot Airstream Pop-Up Bar coincided with Spring Racing Carnival. Now, it’s the Aperol Spritz Country Club coinciding with the Australian Open, a move that has essentially made the Aperol Spritz the unofficial cocktail of the tennis tournament.
The popup is perfectly positioned on The Arts Centre River Terrace with the best views of the city. Wander across Princes Bridge and it’s impossible to miss the island of orange perched by the Yarra. Plus the sunbeams reflecting off the mirrored Aperol aviators on staff and patrons make it super easy to find.
The country club concept means your Friday after work drinkies or Sunday session will be to the tunes of a guest DJ. Why not have a little hit of table tennis or rub your toes in the AstroTurf before you sit back under a garden umbrella or faux orange tree sipping your spritzy-spritz.
The popup is serving $10 spritzers and snacks to appease the appetites of the gents and ladies of the country club from Wednesdays through to Sundays.
Aperol Spritz
A refreshing apéritivo mixed with 2 parts Aperol, 3 parts prosecco and a splash of Capi soda, served over ice with a slice of orange.
Cheers!
